Padi Scuba Diver
The two day Scuba Diver course
was designed for those who dont have enough time to complete the entire Open Water Diver course in one go
or if somebody needs to interrupt this course for any reason. The Scuba Diver course offers a fast and convenient
way for everybody from the age of 10 years old to obtain their first internationally recognised scuba
certification.
Course Contents
Preparation
Once you have signed up for the Scuba Diver course you will be given the PADI GO DIVE Manual which you need to
reed and comlete the knowledge reviews of the first chapter.
Knowledge development (Day 1)
Your instructor will close knowledge gaps and eliminate misinterpretations by using a video and verbal
presentation.
Pool training (Day 1)
Our swimming pool offers a depth of 1,50 meters / 4,50 feet. Your instructor will explain and slowly
demonstrate each and every skill for you and give you enough time to practice. We will also check if you are
able to swim and feel comfortable in the water.
Open water training (Day 2)
During your course you will participate in two open water training dives to a maximum depth of
12 meters / 40 feet which will last 40-60 minutes each dive. The first dive does not contain any formal
skills but gets you acclimatised to the new environment. During the second dive you will repeat the skills
you have already learnt in the pool and apply them to open water situations.
Both dives offer plenty of time to discover the underwater world and explore the tropical reefs of
ko Haa or Phi Phi.
How much does it cost?
The pirce is 9500 TBH and is inclusive of:PADI Instructor, ALL-Teaching materials, Certification, ALL-Equipment,
Pick up service, Boat, Breakfast, Lunch, Water-Tea-Electrolyte drinks, Fruits and VAT.

When do Scuba Diver courses start?
Courses start daily from October to May.
What are the prerequisites to enroll into the Scuba Diver course?
Everybody who is in a good healthy condition and feels comfortable in the water can participate. You need to
be 15 years of age to start with the Scuba Diver course. If you are 10-14 years old you can participate in the
Junior Scuba Diver course.
Can I complete my Open Water Diver course at any time?
Certified Scuba Divers can complete their training to Open Water Diver at any time. That means you can become
a certified Open Water Diver in two stages if this fits into your time schedule better.
How will I get to the training centre?
Aqua Scuba will provide your transportation from anywhere on ko Lanta.
What do I need for the course?
A PADI Open Water Crew Pack which you will get from Aqua Scuba at the time you sign-up for the course.
You will also need this same Crew Pack to complete your training to Open Water Diver.
What do I need to bring with me?
Four passport photos, towel, swim suit, sun lotion, scuba equipment if you have it already and the
PADI Crew Pack.
How many days of training does the Scuba Diver course take?
The Scuba Diver course takes two days.
How many dives are included in the course?
The Scuba Diver course includes two training dives at tropical reefs.
How deep will we dive during the Scuba Diver course?

What if I need to interrupt my course due to illness or in the unlikely event that I dont like
scuba diving?
If this is the case you only need to pay for the service you have already received and we will provide you
with an internationally recognised referral, which allows you to complete your course at any PADI dive store
around the globe.
