Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, Boonsung Wreck,
Burma Banks and Mergui Archipelago.
Ocean Rover
Ocean Rover without any doubt set the standards regarding safety, quality and service. Over-equipped with the latest electronics and with an IMO Passenger Ship Safety Certificate among other certificates and with a professional crew of twelve to look after 16 passengers, the only thing you have to worry about is… nothing!
The Cabins
Ocean Rover takes a maximum of sixteen passengers in eight cabins which are all located on the main and upper decks. Six cabins are identical (4 upper deck and 2 main deck) and have large double beds with single upper berths and large panoramic windows. The two forward cabins on the main deck feature wide upper and lower single berths and have dual portholes. All cabins have private bathrooms, individually controlled air-conditioning and lots of storage space. All beds are 2 meters (6ft 6in) long so the tallest of passengers can sleep comfortably.
Interior / Exterior

Ocean Rover was built with comfort in mind. Her decks are spacious and well laid-out. The air-conditioned salon features a tastefully designed dining and lounging arrangement, a fully equipped entertainment center and a library stocked with marine reference books. The partially shaded upper deck offers comfortable recliners for relaxing and socializing between dives.
Ocean Rover is truly a floating dive resort, with all comforts of home, an ever-smiling crew and mouth watering cuisine.

The Dive Deck
The vast dive-deck offers lots of space for gearing up and has several camera tables and twin rinse tanks.
Other camera worktables and charging facilities are indoor.

Access to the water is easier than ever from Ocean Rover's unique feature the "whale-deck" the lower section
of the dive-deck which slopes down to the waterline allowing for optimum ease of diving operations. This whale-deck is
where the dinghies are stored when the vessel is underway.

Itinerary Information
Ocean Rover's itinerary is flexible, usually includes Similan islands, Surin islands, koh Bon, Richelieu Rock in Thai waters and Burma Banks & Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar's waters. With four or more dives on most days.
Ocean Rover departs at 20:00hrs from Chalong bay, Phuket and visit the Similan islands first. To save day-light hours we do as much as possible of our long distance traveling at night. After the Similans we dive Tachai, possibly koh Bon and the
Surin/Richelieu Rock area, then head for the Myanmar border in the after-noon. We clear immigration in Kawthaung (Victoria Point) that evening, where an official of the Tourism Ministry will join us.
During the next several days we visit many dive sites in the Mergui Archipelago area. Eventually we make our way back o Kawthaung we where we check out of Myanmar in the evening, then head back into Thai waters.
The next starts with several dives at Richelieu Rock, followed by koh Tachai, possibly the Bangsak tin dredge wreck and finally the Similans. We spend the last day doing three dives at the Similan islands before returning to Chalong Bay in the late evening. Passenger disembarks the next morning at 07:00hrs.
